First off let me say that I really do like this picture. It caught my eye for the vibrant colors you managed to capture on what is probably a cold day. I find the small detail like the reflection of the dogs paws off the smooth stone. Also the repetition of dark leather on her with her jacket and boots and the dogs collar really are nice little touches. As for the negative, and its only a small one, I don't care much for the way the dog is positioned, the way she has ahold of his paws makes me think that the dogs is either being forced into an uncomfortable position or she is about to correct him for jumping up. I think the whole picture would have been more comfortable looking if she had dropped one knee and had one hand petting the dog instead of holding him with both. But overall this is a very nice shot and as a dog lover and a huge fan of this breed it thought it was very 'awww'
Great use of light. It's a delightful moment and an absolutely cute picture. It's so funny also how it seems to embody a new lovely scene with the beauty and the beast, but now with the little fellow.
This is a very well captured image. The sunlight's angle on her really does alot in balancing the image especially the highlights in her hair and her expression is very believable as well. I do like the choice of leather and dark colors as well in terms of the rest of the image which obviously is much more lighted. Lastly, I do have agree with the critique above that it would be better if the dog's paws were actually resting on her knees rather than her holding him up. Other than that, a beautiful shot!
I love the subject (even if one of them has his little red felt tip pen out ), but I'm not too crazy on the background blur and sky. I'd probably prefer it square but the subject is so well captured who cares
